Welcome to Amethyst Reflexology.
My name is Alex and I am based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, where I offer a variety of reflexology treatments as well as Indian Head Massage and aromatherapy to help improve health and wellbeing. Treatments are carried out in a professional and friendly environment within easy reach of Eastleigh town centre. I also welcome invitations from corporate businesses to provide treatments within the workplace.
My aim, as a therapist, is to provide deeply relaxing and rejuvenating treatments that are tailored to your individual needs. I am very passionate about my work and I use a variety of techniques that I have learned throughout my career in order to provide you with the best treatment and the best outcomes.
My personal journey started many years ago when certain unexplained, yet at times debilitating ailments, led me to look at therapies that could complement any medical diagnoses, not just for myself, but also for certain members of my family. After much researching, I came across reflexology and was amazed that by applying pressure to places on the feet, it could alter some of the imbalances that our bodies were showing. I was so amazed by it that I decided to train as a reflexologist so I could help others. And it still amazes me.
As a mother of three girls, regular treatments have become a big part of their lives as it helps them to relax, re-boot and to take on the world around them.
My qualifications include BA Hons, Level 3 Reflexology Diploma, Indian Head Massage Diploma and Aromaflex Diploma.
I am fully insured and a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists and I am committed to my pledge to maintain a continued professional development.
Reflexology is not a substitute for medical intervention and it is important that for any serious medical conditions, diagnosis is made by a medical professional.
As reflexologists, we can not claim to cure, prescribe or diagnose, but many believe it is a great therapy to re-balance, relax and restore.
